There are three ways to get to Namdoling Monastery:
1. Take a 40 min flight to Kathmandu-Lukla, then walk 6-7 hrs downhill from Lukla towards Payun-Khari Khola upon arrival in Khari Khola walk 1/2 hour uphill to Lenji Kharka.

2. Take 34 min flight Kathmandu-Phaplu and then take a rough route vehicle to Taksindhu further down to Thulo Dhunga and walk 3-4 hours to Khari Khola and further 1 hour uphill to Lenji Kharka.

3. Drive one day from Kathmandu-Solu Salleri then a rough route vehicle to Taksindhu and further down to Thulo Dhunga and walk 3-4 hours to Khari Khola and another 1 hour uphill to Lenji Kharka where the monastery is located.
